What we offer at Goldhill Memorial Centre, Singapore’s first smart columbarium.
A typical session of paying respects at a government columbarium like Mandai Columbarium involves waking up in the wee hours of the morning and hurrying down to avoid crowds and joust for parking spaces. Those who are unable to commit to the morning rush are inevitably treated to the massive crowds and the sweltering midday sun, only compounded by the copious amounts of incense being burnt at the burners.
In fact, the National Environmental Agency (NEA) often releases articles such as this to advise the general public on visitation hours.
However, private columbaria such as Goldhill Memorial Centre aim to provide a stress-free and comfortable experience.
Located at 403 Tampines Road, we are about a 15-minute drive from the MRT station and serviced by bus no.72

What we offer :
1. A luxurious, comfortable and tranquil environment for visiting:
Unlike the cramped conditions in traditional columbaria, which are exposed to the elements, our niches are housed in enclosed suites that offer a private and tranquil atmosphere. Furthermore, each luxurious suite is fully equipped with modern amenities such as air-conditioning and Wifi, to ensure maximum comfort. Additionally, each suite has an integrated smoke venting system to allow for the lighting of joss sticks in the suite itself.

2. Underground, eye-level niches:
All of our niches are located beneath the ground (入土为安). This follows the Chinese belief that remains that are beneath the earth can lead to greater prosperity and fortune for the descendants. Each niche is also located at eye level, no kneeling or clambering up ladders required.

3. Customized memorial videos:
When visiting, a memorial video is played that consists of the highlights and key experiences of the deceased. This serves as a memorial tribute while also allowing the visitors, especially grandchildren who may not have extensive contact with the deceased, to recall memorable moments that they may have had together, better instilling filial piety.
